Vasudhara Falls, Badrinath

The trek to Vasudhara Falls is easy till the Saraswati temple but becomes little difficult as the steep slope starts from here. Vasudhara Valley has majestic views of mountain ranges like Nilkanth, Chaukhamba and Balakun Peak and mesmerising landscapes. The waterfall is a ,ajor attraction for nature activists and trekkers who may further trek to Satopanth Lake. The fall looks stunning in the monsoon and post monsoon but it is better to avoid going at the place during monsoon.
The waterfall is one of the highest waterfalls in India. There are no shops after Mana village in route to the trek so one can take some snacks and water from Mana. The water of the fall appears like milk flowing down the mountain. The best time to visit the fall is in the months of May and June. It is believed that the fall can only be savoured by the people who are pure hearted and unstained from guilt.
