The Garjiya Devi Temple is located on the bank of Kosi river in Garjiya village of Ramnagar.

The temple is located in midst of beautiful scenic place, on the bank of Kosi river. The best time to visit the temple is in the morning, when one can take a dip in the river and then visit the temple. The temple is Devi (Godess) temple offering quiet and calm place for worship.  It is a sacred temple where Garjiya Devi is the presiding deity. The temple is situated over a large rock and is visited by thousands of devotees during Kartik Poornima. The temple is surrounded by local market shops and eateries. The temple is accessible through stairs only which are steep & needs caution while ascending. During rains the temple gets surrounded by the river. Tourists need to cross the Kosi river via bridge for reaching the temple. 

How to Reach

The temple is located at about 14km from Ramnagar, and local taxis can be hired to reach here.
