Corbett Museum, Jim Corbett National Park

The Corbett Museum is located in Kaladhungi which is a place that lies on the way to Nainital via Khurptal. The museum is located at a distance of 3 kilometres from the main town. The museum is open throughout the year except in Holi. The timings for visiting the museum is from 7 am to 6 pm. An entry fee of 10 rupees from Indian citizens, 3 rupees from students and 50 rupees from foreigners is charged in the museum. 

The Corbett Museum is a heritage bungalow of Mr Edward James Jim Corbett, the renowned hunter and environmentalist who raised the value of the conservation of environment n Uttarakhand. This museum is a reflection of the activities and passion of this distinguished person. One can learn about the deep history of the Corbett reserve by making a visit to the museum. There are various things like sketches, paintings, manuscripts, gun, cap, bag and personal articles of Jim Corbett in the museum. A shared taxi or a bus from Ramnagar can take you to Kaladhungi where the Museum is located. You can also visit the Corbett Waterfall which is located at a distance of 4 kilometres from Cprbett Museum.
