Colony History and Heritage is situated in the Nainital district of the state of Uttarakhand. It is located in a small village of Jeolikote region having a large number of cottages which are found in unseen corners of the place.
One of the most famous cottages of Jeolikote is the House of Warwick Sahib, a retired major of the British army, who used to live in Jeolikote. Another bungalow, which belonged to a lady, who was the direct descendant of Napoleon Bonaparte, can also be found. She came to visit Jeolikote, who later fell in love here and stayed on.
